Sometimes daddy tells me stories. Stories about Suetonius, his first son, sadly departed, about places daddy has been - but my favorite story is the one he used to tell me before I learned to do my business outside (if you know what I mean). It's kind of a scary story, but it sure put the fear of God into me.

It's the story of Shamus MacPug. Shamus lived a long time ago in a place called Scotland (over the northeast part of the fence, I'm told). He was a happy doggy because whenever his daddy took him outside he would do his business outside where good pugs should. He lived a long, happy life and because he was a good doggy he went to the rainbow bridge where good doggies wait for their daddy's to come one day and play with them forever. However, Shamus has a special mission. Every night he comes to earth to scare the bad little pugs who forgot and did their businesses inside with howls and disapproving facial expressions. (shudder.)
